Anything is possible with the straightener! haha. Yes, you will be able to if you have wavy and frizzy hair. I would suggest you to use some heat protectant and also some defrizz products! You probably have those items already but yup, if any questions, please ask!

vangdiane February 22, 2009 at 5:12 pm: This should work! I have layers that are 6 inches below my shoulder. If you have a smaller flat iron, it will def. work.
